The Quilt Life

Journey Continues…

As a child, if anyone asked what I wanted to be, without any doubt, I would say, “an artist.’ I enjoyed calligraphy as a young girl. In high school I studied graphic arts. College my major was photography. During all that time and up today there’s been a calling for everything to do with quilts and quilt making. The texture, patterns and color of fabrics brings such joy. The ability to take perfectly good fabrics, cut them up and sew them back together into unexpected pieces of art.

I have been making quilts for over 30 years. In 2007 was the beginning of my Professional Long-Arm Quilting business. Soon after that, Independent Quilt Fabric Sale Representative was added. Now during this crazy year, I’ve taken this downtime to learn, everything social media, from producing video for YouTube, live streaming Quilt Shows and my newest bliss Surface Design. How exciting to see my art on a piece of fabric or so many other opportunities, like clothing, wallpaper, coffee cups…

So, tell me what draws you to quilting? How can I help you to continue your journey? Let’s build a larger community of quilters and artists and continue our best “Quilt Life.”

Thank you
